It is always important to have basic first aid needs available when camping. There are so many things that can happen during your trip to the woods. From bug bites to lacerations, we have got you covered.

The first thing that you need to have is a basic first aid kit that will cover just that….all the basics. When you are enjoying your trip into the wilderness you may run across cuts, scrapes, scratches, abrasions, lacerations, burns, bites, bruises, bumps, lumps, lesions and rashes. You need to be equipped to face these issues.

  • You will need the following items in your first aid kit:
  • 2×2 bandages
  • 4×4 bandages
  • Roller Gauze-various sizes
  • 1/4″ steri strips/benzoin
  • Triple antibiotic cream with pain reliever
  • Alcohol pads
  • Coban
  • Finger splint
  • Flat splint
  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Betadine
  • Dermaplast or other first aid spray
  • Silver Sulfadine
  • Standard Bandages
  • CPR face shield
  • Nitrile gloves
  • Instant Ice Paks
  • Tourniquets
  • Tweezers/splinter removal kit
  • Tick removal key
  • Small pair of scissors
  • Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)
  • Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
  • Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
  • Antacids (Zantac, Pepcid)
  • Calcium Carbonate (Tums)
  • Saline Wound Wash
  • Qwik Clot (for those hard to stop bleeds)
